Can I view a property?
Yes you can! We also do virtual viewings wherever possible using pre-recorded film or a live chat functionality. If However if you wish to see a property in person, we can now facilitate that. We will discuss with you the requirements to keep the viewing safe. This may involve you filling out a health questionnaire before your viewing. For both viewer and homeowner. We will do the viewing on behalf of the vendor and we will minimise any physical contact with Doors, cupboards etc; To keep you and the owners safe. We will also be limiting the number of people in the viewing.
Can I put my property up for sale?
Yes, if you want to sell your property, we can offer a free market valuation to help you understand what your property could sell for, explain the process and our service offering. We will try wherever possible to do valuations contact less free. However we understand some will want to meet us so additional measures are put in place to protect you and our employees. Before the market valuation you may have to fill out a short questionnaire. We will contact you prior to your appointment to confirm the details but also run through our requirements for the day such as, leaving interior doors open to minimise contact. We understand these are uncertain times.
Can I sell my house if I am shielding?
Yes, if you are shielding, we can conduct your market valuation via video call and all viewings virtually to not put your safety at risk.
I want to sell my house, how can I be sure that viewings will be conducted safely?
We offer virtual viewings wherever possible to limit the amount of people entering your property.
When an in-person viewing is required, we will be following strict safety guidelines which include:
Limiting the amount of people attending to two
We will not ask you to present to minimise the risk
We will wear gloves and ask you to open all interior doors and cupboards etc; to minimise contact by us and the viewers
We will have anti-bacterial wipes with us to clean down surfaces and door handles
We will try and keep viewings as short as possible
We will ask you and viewers to complete a short health questionnaire to make sure everyone is well and not showing symptoms.
We will follow social distancing guidelines.
We will always discuss this with you before hand to make sure you are comfortable.
Can we move house now?
Yes, it is now possible to move house following the recent government announcement. Although things will look a little different.
Can I bring my own safety equipment?
Yes, of course if you wish to wear a mask and gloves or even bring your own hand sanitiser.
Is anyone buying houses right now?
Yes, while in these uncertain times peoples needs haven't changed so we are confident that we can sell houses. Mortgage finance is available so we don't foresee a big issue in the property process.
Can I get a mortgage if I am on Furlough?
This is a hard question to answer, I would strongly suggest getting independent advice from a mortgage broker who could best answer this question simply because everyone's circumstances are different. Why not contact us and speak to our mortgage advisers?
